Here we will show you a step by step guide to the making of your ring once you have chosen your Diamond and design.
First we begin by making the bezel for your Diamond.
This is one of the most important structures to your ring and needs to be made to the exact measurements of the Diamond.
This is what the Diamond will sit on once the collet has been completed.
We then have to mould these straight pieces of metal to take the shape of the claws for the collet.
These are incredibly important as they hold the stone in.
Again the measurements need to be exact to ensure the stone doesn't fall out!
The finished shape of the claws.
We then solder the claws to the underside of the bezel to create the collet.
These crossover each other which will create a much sturdier head.
Once the collet has been made we create the shank, this is the main part of the ring.
It has to be made to the particular width and finger size as required by you.
The collet is then soldered onto the top of the ring to create the finished piece.
The stone is set into the collet and the ring is polished.
The finished piece in all it's glory!
